Thumbs up A recommendation for Wheel Dynamics in CA – Very satisfied

I just wanted to pass along a comment or two about my dealings with Wheel Dynamics of Culver City, CA.

I purchased a wheel for my 928 from them on ebay. It was a special wheel, a used RH 3.6t. These wheels are quite pricey, and rather rare. I purchased it for a good price (30% new), and they were very good with all my interactions, and especially with the shipping to me in Canada (FedEx ground).

When the wheel showed up, it looked like FedEx tossed it of the back of the truck, (at least once) because it had a large dent in the box at the top, and inside the wheel was bent on that side. Crap!

I contacted Carlos at Wheel Dynamics, and he was great. He arranged FedEx to comeback and retrieve the damaged wheel. He had it returned to him where he sent it out for complete repair. I got the wheel back a few weeks later in great condition. NO HASSLES! There was however some further "unrelated" FedEx ground issues.

Carlos at Wheel Dynamics has been real stand-up guy, and I would recommend them to any of you Porsche owners.

Wheel dynamics offers a good selection of Porsche wheels, take-offs, and custom wheels.

They also seem to have a good handle on the 928 offset, which can be confusing to many.

If you are looking for wheels for your 928, I recommend you have a look at their website, and/or give them a call.

Cool to hear you found a company with great customer service. We all know this is becoming a thing of the past. I do however feel if properly packaged it would be very difficult to damage something by dropping it or through normal shipping.

I think at this point that "properly packaged" for something like this is more like "over packaged" and "bomb proof" compared to what could be done 5 years ago.

Something everyone should remember! I've gotten to the point of making little wooden crates for irreplaceable small bits...

I've spoke with them a few times in my 993 Twist wheel search, very helpful.

I spoke to carlos also recently, he was very knowledgeable about 928 offsets and was happy to discuss 928 needs.

Carlos is very customer service oriented.
Hopefully he will not get "burned out" dealing with customers as is usually the case in the Porsche aftermarket trade.
I am very happy with the price and service he gave me on these custom finished TT hollow spokes with pilot sports.

RDS-

I am a hopeless old-school OEM 16" kind of guy, but every time you post a picture of those rims on that beautiful car of yours, I start having evil thoughts about black hollow spokes for my GT.......

I purchased a set of wheels from Carlos for my '82. The wheels were just as advertised, and he made every effort to accomodate my needs. I highly recommend Wheel Dynamics to anyone
