Throttle cable probably came of its pulley The heavy clutch could be from an owner who has it adjusted that way so he knows RIGHT AWAY when the clutch slave hose bursts.

The heavy stearing bit? Can't figure that one out - both mine have been quite tossable with just a couple fingers on the wheel.

Carl Fausett has some videos like that of himself testing the SC's he sells. He would be good at making videos like this as his are fairly well produced and he even looks british!

I believe it’s well produced. The camera work, script content and continuity flow and are pretty spot on. I was entertained. The Brit humor sprinkled throughout plays better to the European crowd…the ‘Big fat American fingers’ and ‘not for girls’ comments.

The piece gives a lot of good newbie advice while making some valid points. "We" know the more worn examples or that is…the ‘cloak n’ dagger’ beaters will kill your pocket book.

*Over engineered, OVER speck’d and very very under valued.
*Designed very tight, no squeaks.
*Clean sheet design....Porsche spent 30 yrs. to get the 911 right
*928 is one of the best handling cars of its generation.

That would be a good video to stick and have on hand for those looking to find their first shark. I'll see if I can't chase down the producing party.

I liked the review - makes me want to get a 928, but it would have to be a late model because my dad's S never did it for me all the way.

The SE is a hardcore version of the 928. There was the CS for the continent, dubbed SE for the UK. Less sound deadening, deleted rear mirror and side mirror, no sunroof, smaller airconditioner.

That is a VERY subjective statement by this guy. It's not like the 911 didn't win any races or rallies in the 60's, 70's or 80's.

It may be a better statement if the guy said it took 30 years for Porsche to tame it down to where the common man wouldn't get into trouble with it."

It really cracks me up that there is so much 911 resentment/envy here.

I don't know what to tell you man...I didn't write the script. Simply noting a few of the video's bullet points.

You know, the same can be said about 911owners regarding resentment/envy or in their case a simple lack of understanding towards the 928...Not that your atypical PCA snobbery or snide comments would be any indication of these feelings being present. Of course not. Personally I don't resent nor envy the 911. In fact, there are several 911 series I would like to have.

However, I will always prefer the 928 over any other Porsche but I do enjoy teasing the 911 guys occasionally…All in fun of course.

I know that was what the script said, and that you were only noting it. I guess I was responding to the smileys you added. Maybe I was lumping you into the fairly regular comments snubbing the 911.

I think I'm unique in that I can look at both models a little more objectively than some. I love both of them, and they are two different animals. To me, it's like comparing apples to oranges.
