I believe you will find that the amount of turns differ on the front and the rear, the distance from the shock mounting point to the wheel centerline is not the same. I think that the front is 8 turns to the inch whereas the rear is 6 turns.

I never got around to it today..fixing kids bikes...honey do's etc etc I fly tomorrow for 4 days. Ill check the hgt when i get back....the car will have about 50 miles on it by then and should be well settled.

I found another spanner tool today at a motorcycle parts store. It worked very well and pivots in the center for various size fits. Cost was $19

By "turn" does everyone mean 1 complete 360 degree revolution?

I neat item I use to measure is a telescopic magnet (mine is 158 mm fully compressed). I put it under the car, extend the telescopic part until it touches the measuring pad, take it out and measure the length with a ruler.
