Here is a crappy picture to give you an idea. The S4 is stock, but the PORSCHE is in steel flex. After looking at the pictues, it really does not give you a great idea of the lettering/color. Nicole will be able to give you a better description.

I guess one could say "naked is nice", but IMO a good color combination of car color and script coloring back there s a nice touch.

Gzilla should show his butt. He has one of the best rear ends "out there."

I'll be asking the same question after our 84 gets back from the body shop. Ours is Zinmetallic and right now, there is no 928S insignia whatsoever and the PORSCHE letter has no fill at all. I am curious to know what black lettering would look like.

So too, I understand Jim Bailey's point; the car is classic enough not to have a model number showing.

Fun to think about and I'd be happy to give Hooked on Cars some biz.

Jim,

You're right if you want the unwashed to think that the 928 is a Farrari. I prefer to let people know what it is. I have raised letters ordered.

Calling Nicole...

Has anyone installed the raised letters, black "928 / script red S/ black 4" along the lower edge of the hatch, probably towards the right side...this would be on a black 88' shark. I know it is under the spoiler, but it should still be visible, but not too obnoxious.???

Thoughts, pictures, comments anyone?

Not that I know of. But then again, I rarely get to see pictures of the cars with my products on them.

Personally, I would not put those letters on the hatch. They are too big for that rather small area. And they would be at an odd angle. On the other hand, it's not me who has to like the position of the letters...

Just wondering what it would look like.

I'm not too good with the photoshop type programs that would help me visulize it.....Does anyone put it in the center, or right of center above the PORSCHE indents, I'm not convinced that I like the "stock" position???

That would look HORRIBLE, IMO (letters under the spoiler).

One suggestion, I took a pic of my car's backside and then used my photo-editing program to play with colors. I wanted to go red lettering on my white car, and wasn't sure if it would look right. With a good image in good light, I could see the P O R S C H E letters, and was able to color them in with the "paintbrush" in red. Voila, virtual rearend.

Different strokes for different folks....I'm leaning towards a lot of contrast...black against silver metallic w/a red S.
