I am due for a change and going to go colder too.
I'm using WR5DC+ on both my '86.5 and '85, winter and summer without problem.

I thought for a while that the 5's took a few seconds to warm up, because it sometimes didn't idle well just after starting, but it turned out to be the the programming on the first version of my 55 psi S3 chips. I had been too focused on making it fire in as few revs as possible. The newest versions of my LH (v1.1) and EZF (v1.4) chips have improved fueling and timing overall (not just at WOT), so they both start nicely at all temps, with just a few more revs.

With stock/AT/eBay chips, WR6DC(+) work fine, as they all have the conservative stock rich LH and retarded EZF WOT maps (plus a 6400 rev limit).
