As chuck mentioned, but then there was the draped leather option but that I've never seen on a sport seat only on the comfort seat style.

Are any preferred over others?

I agree 100%. I have never seen a sport seat in draped or supple leather as they call it on the 911's the sport seats up until 94 all looked like the ones pictured even for the 911's and 944's. The seats were different for the 928 but similar in configuration. I have only seen one set of sport seats in a 928/911 or 944 that were more than 4 way adjustable unlike the comfort seats which were 8 or 12 way adjustable.

I did however find a very rare set of 993TT hard backed sport seats that were 8 way adjustable and heated in supple leather. I purchased these some time back and plan on installing them in my 911 soon. I can't imagine what these must have cost from the exclusive department. I was told the factory would not offer them but apparently someone paid enough to get them.

Can't wait to try them out.

I remember in 1999 a Montreal/Ontario Lawyer for the Hell's Angels gang was found dead in the back of his GTS. I had just sold my GTS to a Lawyer in Toronto and phoned to make sure it was not him.

Could this be the theft recovery in 1999?

Am I the only one or do the rear seats seem out of place with the front ones. Find it surprising the front are draped leather and the rear aren't. The theives took the original seats?

My 93 GTS has the draped leather seats and the backs (when I still had them installed) were just like those in the picture, NOT draped. I guess it was standard that way.

Are they not the same type of perforated leather? I see the same type leather on the fronts and also on the rears?

Mine has draped on all four. There's two options in sticker which have to do with leather:

935 Seat cover rear RLL
980 Seat cover ruffled leather

RLL = RuffLed Leather?

Other unknown leather acronyms in option list are:

930 Seat cover rear LLL
931 Seat cover rear KKK
932 Seat cover rear SKK
933 Seat cover rear SLL
934 Seat cover rear SSK
945 Seat cover front SKK
948 Seat cover front SLL

The fronts aren't draped (RLL), they are standard. Draped is much looser looking. These fronts just look stretched, for a lack of a better term.

It can be a good one. It is stored at UNICORN MOTORS in Lachine (Montreal). They are a Rennsport Authorized Technical Inspector and they specialize in Porsche & Ferrari.

Guess what...the carpet on the back of the rear seats has been replaced.
My replacement carpet from GAHH went on just like that also.
