Wow... 8 is a pretty good number! Count me in. It would be great if we could get the track to ourselves but if not, thats fine too. Too bad Rick can't make it, I haven't seen him (or any of you guys) since our GTG in Seekonk.

Track 1 will be open 6:00 to 6:40, then again at 8:10. Track 2 will be open the whole night.
I am going for 6pm and will be there for the duration.
They have league racing and "arrive and drive" gets scheduled around it.
I am hoping there's enough interest to do this on a regular basis, the only thing is that F1 requires a commitment ($$$) to set the track aside regularly for any groups.

I'm not a huge fan of the country track (track 2?) I prefer the city track (over/under track 1?). I can't make it for 6 . 8:10 would work but the majority rules -let me know what the plan is. Is there more than 3 of us going?

Boy I definitely did not make the best dinner choice, I'm still tasting that burger which doesn't seem to want to digest after racing.
That was a great time and Carl you were right, definitely a stress reliever.
Now I'm really looking forward to this spring/summer and spending some time in the shark.

That was a lot of fun, no doubt. I pushed the limits of "no contact" in one race- I think I bumped everyone out there! Nascar style!!! I made every contact look like an accident.
We had six of us there, and mostly had the track to ourselves. A 911 guy with a lot of kart experience schooled me on hot lines and momentum, I had nothing for him. Jeez, pavement racing is so precise and not friendly of making small mistakes. Motocross that I have all my experience in is so forgiving of mistakes.
John V. was very experienced in the karts, and Dave C. was on his game as well.
Maybe in the northeast we all need a beater 928 with blizzaks so that we can keep driving something good from december to march...

all I can say is this was such a great break for the winter duldrums. It was allot of fun and all the guys from this group are a class act.
Other than our fast 911 freind (very nice guy, I wish I could remember all the new names), Carl was showing off his driving skills with the best lap times, (despite some equipment challenges -I told you kart #45 was a dog). In the last race, Carl, Dave and myself were all turning in lap after lap at 21.4x all within tenths, even hundredths of a second difference consistently. Our best laps were 21.33, 21.34 & 21.36 respectively... very evenly matched. It was a lot of fun and I hope we can do it again soon.
