Default TWIN DIST. BELT ON EURO Q

Does anyone know how these little covers, that hold the twin dist belt on the gears, come off? I am at this point & in my manual, it shows these covers as seperate pieces from the actual gears. All I have to go by is a picture with all the parts as they go & apart. I could really use some advice at this point.

Thanks so much!

there is an allen screw on the side of each rotor IIRC. I did it ... been a while.

I got the rotors off fine, but now, to get the actual belt off, I need to remove the cap that sits on top of the gear that the belt rides on, otherwise I cannot get the belt off.

rob,

ALWAYS keep a spare with you at all times! They are quite flimsy and can cause quite an issue if they pop and you dont have a spare... instant 4 cyclinder!!
