I am having difficulties getting this ad in classifieds so I will try here until I figure it out. My pics are also too big so e-mail me for pics.

1982 928 automatic. Platinum metallic(silverish) over camel & brown leather interior. All OEM and adult senior owned. 77,500 miles with some service records. Rebuilt Trans, AC compressor, window motors, timing belt and WP, and radiator all new in last 15k or 5 years. This car has only been driven a few thousand miles in the last 5 years due to PO's health. NO SUNROOF or Side moldings. Has the Competeition group package(spoilers). Always a FL car, no rust and no accidents that I know or show. NO LEAKS!!!!

The Good:
AC blows cold. Cruise control works great. Power windows, mirrors, seats, & door locks work, rear defog & lighter even work. NO SUNROOF or SIDE MOLDINGS. 16" OEM gold dish rims in great shape(1 is a little faded). Paint was redone in the 90's and is VERY shiny and straight, looks almost OEM but has a few scuffs and a few dings over the years. Glass is all good. Spare tire, jack, tool kit etc all there and look never used. Seats are good. Drivers has no bolster wear and in nice shape but stitching pulling away on a few of the folds up top(easy to fix). Pass front and rear look new(no BS). Driver's rear has tear on bottom. Carpet is fine with new rear carpet in hatch area. Headliner and door panels ar near perfect. Dash is cracked by vents but I have new brown overlay from Performance. Stereo works, all idiot lights & gauges work and all idiot lights go out after starting her. All outside lights work and has H4 upgrade and rod clips are good.

The Bad:I have the usual stop lamp light that comes on sporatically but all lights work, common glitch. AC only works on Bi-level but is 134A. It sometimes works on normal but ALWAYS works on bi-level. Fan sometmes squeaks a little. Wiper washer resevoir is leaking but headlight one works fine. Trans shift cable is going bad so it will not come out of reverse most of the time when shifted into park. I have to leave it in neutral with P-brake on. Works fine otherwise and is an easy fix. Because if this she is sensative to downshift when in drive. Manually shifting or even flooring it she drives 100%. Something is out of adjustment. Driver's seat works but does not go up/down(middle switch is bad). No biggie being front/rear and tilt back/forth works. No tire compressor but have aftermarket. Tires are getting thin but still have some life left. The MPG gauge works intermittently.

The Ugly: There is a scuff on hood where branch fell, no dent just scuff about the size of a pac of cigs. scuff on PS door real small. Ding above gas cap about the size of pencil eraser. Couple rock chips here and there. Small dent on bottom of DS door where I let it down off the jack with door open and foot stool was there(door shuts fine and hardly noticable). One rim is faded, other three look almost new. Around the windows it looks like they did not prep the car perfect and some of the paint has bubbled but been touched up. This is NOT rot by any means, just some poor prep work and a pinstripe would cover it.

I do NOT want to misrepresent this car being a fellow rennlist member so it sounds worse than it is, pics will show you that. I just want EVERYONE to know EXACTLY what she is and needs that of course I know about. Again a FL car since new so clean in that arena. Everything works on car, car is straight and clean, a REAL nice driver. Reason for sale is I want a S4 or 911 but I am changing jobs next week. I have 5 cars so this one is going for now. This is a great car for someone who wants to get their feet wet with a Porshe but not drown in repairs, she is a good car. I just did a 200 mile trip to Sebring last week with AC running and no problems. Mel(fellow Rennlist member) checked her out and said I would be foolish to sell it for less than $5k and should get $6k. If I had new tires, installed the dashpad, trans cable, etc I would listen to him. I am going to be a fool and ask $4900. This is not some E-Bay POS, it is solid and I am not misrepresenting a thing as you can tell. It is nicer than most 928's I have seen for double the $$$. For less than $6k you would have an awesome car.

Man, if I wasn't in to Euros and 5 speeds, I'd be all over this. Nice looking car! Love the interior/exterior color combo and lack of sunroof/side mouldings. Some new 17" wheels will set this car off.

It's definately a metallic...how's that? It is more silver than any other color but it does have a slight gold tint to it but mostly silver.

It really is a great ride but Sh*% happens and she has to go. I will get some pics posted of the interior, etc tomorrow.

Ours is Zinmetallic and I think this one might be too. Not 100% because some of the lighting in the pix make this one look a little lighter than ours.
