Risky Business 928 photos
I'm starting a new thread since the other one is really long.
Here are some more pics of the Risky Business 928 recently found by Lewis Johnsen and on display at the Forney Museum in Denver.

Looks pretty good for a car that had once been under water....
just kidding!!!
Obviously, it has never been submerged. But I do notice that it has a non-standard exhaust. Maybe the other one rusted away completely...
The cap for the front tow hook is missing, and the rear one should be in body color - no? What about the hatch lock - is there a seal missing around it?
Interior looks "cork" in color - I like that!

The color is "platinmetallic"
When Paul Brickman wrote the story, he wanted to use a dark grey 928.
When they did screen test on one, the darker color looked bad on film at night.
They then selected this color solely on the way it looked on film at night....good choice IMHO.

The interior is in okay shape, dash is cracked as usual.
The car was originally white, when it was used for the movie it was painted to match the original platinmetallic car, and repainted back to white after.
It was white when Lance bought it, he had it repainted back to platinmetallic.

Looks like the museum website has been updated w/the Risky Business car info owned by Lewis Johnsen who is doing the Car-Umentary.
Forney Museum
I posted the update here as the other thread on this subject got a bit off track.

How old are those photos? Reason I'm asking is because those do not look like the current Illinois plates (standard or antique). Were those reproductions of the plates used in the movie?
Any pictures of the interior? I remember seeing the movie clip and it shows that a keypad and aftermarket speakers were installed in the car.

Those plates were reproduced to look like the ones used in the movie.
I don't have any interior pics, but I will ask Lewis for some.
I don't remember there being any aftermarket speakers installed.....
