Default Shock length

Hi all, I'm searching for coil over shocks for my 928 but since it's in my laneway and covered with snow I'm unable to measure the lengths of shock I'll need. If anybody has installed these and can remember the lengths of shocks used I'd really appreciate hearing from you. Seems the lengths avaliable are 5" 7" and 9"

Thanks

Your car already HAS coil over shocks....but the front shock is about 22 inches fully extended body is about 11 inches . If you limit the travel on the shock too much the cars handle like crap....too little droop ! or bottoms out and spring rate goes infinite.

Hey Jim,

I guess what I'm looking for is an approx length front and rear for a race coilover shock assuming that I'll be fabricating a upper mount plate.

Thanks
