Ed and Justin,
I wish I could take credit for that term, but someone on Rennlist used it before me. I laughed out loud when I saw the term used and it has stuck with me. I wish I could give the author his due, but I have short term memory loss and.......Now what was I saying?
Some picture updates. Everything dissasembled and cleaned for the most part. Need to order bearings and nuts. (Need to get 14mm 12 pt socket for rod nuts, for some reason I don't have one?) Based on previous threads I constructed a simple support to hold the engine from above. Once the parts are in I'll post a new date to re-constuct.
That engine support looks familiar!
That garage is way toooooo clean.

It must be nice to get to any side of the car you might want to work on without having to move the car. Again, I know where I'm going to work on my car next time!!! Heck I might even have a picnic on that floor!
I'm happy to share my shop space anytime. It's just a short drive? It's definitely not as clean as it appears in the pictures. Just cleaned the area where I would be working.
Ordered my bearings today. So that it's not a last minute thing how does anyone/everyone think about the following weekend? March 3rd or 4th?
Some progress. I have the real gasket from Roger, new rod bearings and nuts, GTS Baffle. Red and Green Plasticgauge. Is there still any interest in March 11th at my place to reassemble? If so someone bring a Kemp tool. Good opportunity to check the TB as well.
Pic of the pan after drilling and tapping holes, then mounting the GTS Baffle.
Richard,
I will be there on the 11th - I will do a double check with "her indoors" to make sure.
I can bring the Kemph tool and I have your jump post cap.
Roger
