Is it possible to get a big brake kit with ABS installed on a 82 Euro S. Can anyone estimate the cost including installation for this kit? Also anyone know a tuner/928 specialist in Melbourne/Australia that can do this?

I wouldnt bother as you will have to cut a section of the firewall in front of the drivers side suspension, as well as replace and reroute all the brake lines, that is for ABS,

you can install the big brakes, with either S4 suspension, or spindles from an early car with an adapter to the larger calipers

WIth the 928spec. big brake kit will the car be less inclined to lock up?

Are you talking track or street use, I have never locked my brakes that I can remember, and I had a Pinto pull right in front of me once. (fortunately a great road surface) 928 brakes are typically progressive with a lot of force required before they lock.

My understanding is that the big brakes have less fade, heating from repeated stops, but that the stopping distance isn't that different until they get really hot.
