If you fly in to the north you can ride down and back with me. Coming from NJ Friday AM, back out on Sunday whenever.

I'll pass Philly and DC on the way.

Ed has another good point. How about you just throw a dart at a map, there's probably somebody with a 928 driving from the closest decent sized airport, and just ask them for a lift!

How about the Heinrich relay. Somebody from out west that's not going to SITM just drive him a few hundred miles, then hand him off...

That's it! Pony Express......errr.......Shark Express!

I told him in his other thread where this is being discussed that we'll be modern day cowboys riding across the range. Roger has offered him one of his DFW-based cars as a driver.

I flew into Charlotte last year and it was not a long drive to Banner Elk at all. I or someone else could certainly give you rides back and forth.
