Question How do you get power steering pump back in to car?????

Okay, after lots of twisting like a circus contortionists, I finally removed the power steering pump from my baby.

Now that I have the pump all put back together and ready to install, are there any tricks as to how to get it back in the car.

When I took it off there was no pulley.... that was the problem, it had sheared the bolts. That has been rectified. Now the pump has the mounting bracket and the pulley on it.

So I need some major HELP and suggestiions to get this thing back together.

Thanks
Paul G.

Not hard, just a bit of a knack to it, along the following lines.
1. Mount power steering pump to bracket, with adjustment bracket very gently tightened so bracket is fully 'home'. Belt pulley should be properly monted on pump at this stage.
2. Ensure power steering belt is properly located on the other (non-power steering pump) pulley
3. Raise pump with bracket attached up into posiition, sliding belt over power settering pulley at the same time.
4. Tighten power steering mounting bracket to engine
5. Losen the gently tigthened adjustment nuts / bolts, adjust power steering belt tension, tighten at correct tension.
6. Somwhere in the middle of the mountimg process, make sure the spring steel clip atop the power steering pump is properly holding whatever hose it is meant to hold.

hope this helps
