Default TB service at a Porsche dealer for $800?

Flipping through the new 928 listings on ebay I noticed this "The car just had a $800 complete service at a Porsche dealer which included a timing belt."

I gues the price included supplying the belt; not fitting it

$800 sounds about right for only a TB replacement. TB and nothing more!

Maybe if the old one was in the back seat!

I didn't think the dealer would change the oil for $800.

The last time I paid for a TB&WP it was $1400 and that was four years ago.
Labor was 10 hrs @ $90/hr and parts were $400+
Still have the receipt. That included a WP at $133, Ten Roller at $80, Idle at $66, TB at $100.

Back when I used to be rich!!!!!!!!!

I have done more than a few and 9 to 10 hours is about right.
I guess if you started with everything ready to go and did not count the prep time like draining the block, changing the cam gears, ordering parts, cleaning stuff and on and on.
I would want it done right and not timed against a stop watch.
I wonder what the time is in the Porsche cost estimater if there is such a thing.
