Eagles Canyon Raceway tour... next tour March 3rd
If you missed the last Eagles Canyon Raceway tour... next tour March 3rd.
David and Linda Cook have been kind enough to invite us out for another tour prior to the track opening.
I have arranged with Linda Cook the date of March 3rd.
If there is any rain including drizzle, the rain delay date will be March 10th. If we are to postpone due to rain, I will post the delay here before 8:00am the morning of March 3rd.
As before, the plan is to meet at a Starbuck's in Plano in the morning being ready to leave at 10:30 am. I would plan to be there at 10:00am to get your morning coffee before we head out.
Starbucks
5960 West Parker Road
Plano, TX 75093
As before, we are going to stop for lunch at the historic Clarks Outpost northeast of Lake Ray Roberts in Tioga and should be at the track around 1:15-1:30 pm.
We will make the drive to the track fun. I have added an extra 30 minutes from our last tour to add a few more curves on 455. We plan to take hwy 75 north to 455. Then 455 west to Clarks Outpost. After lunch we’ll continue down 455 to Eagles Canyon Raceway.
Clarks Outpost
101 Highway 377 at Gene Autry Drive
Tioga, Texas 76271
(940) 437-2414
In order to drive on the track we will need to sign a waver. I will provide these at Starbucks the morning of.
A special thanks to the David and Linda Cook for this opportunity.
If you plan on attending, please post here for a courtesy head count. I’ll take care of the lunch reservation.
See you a Starbucks,
Kevin Hughes

Its supposed to get all the way to 50 tomorrow! It has been pretty chilly the last couple of weeks. Glad I invested in my garage heater or I'd get nothing done. 4000W @ 240V does wonders!
Good luck with the tour, all!
