Hi

For my VMAX (top speed) runs I will attempt later this year...aiming for 200 mph....I worked out I will need between 650 to 750 hp....( Nitrous)...and a chute lol......but just in case I will have around 800 to 1000 if needed...(5 minutes to change 2 jets...)

All the best Brett

After looking at the pics, I can see that the one mass airflow sensor sees approximately 1/2 the air.

Air like water or electricity will go with the path of least resistance.
My guess is that one side will indeed have more airflow than the other.

Not that you can't tune it like that, but it is not going to be 1/2 of the airflow all the time, it might be close though.

This may be the reason that BMW and some others use 2 mass airflow meters (and DME's) on some applications where the airflow is split.

It is a neat way of doing it.

Yes. The passenger side MAF is just a dummy to ensure the airflow is as close to being exactly the same through both tubes.

Thanks Brett, but you must've missed my remark that I have an earlier CIS car...any fuel solution will be less tidy. Point taken regarding the knock suppressing chracteristics of nitrous though.

Hi

If you have the RETARD link down by the fuse panel..you can also retard the timing by 6 degrees....if you go for the correct electronic controller (in my case the new MAXX EXTREME from the Wizards of Nos -in the UK)...you can link the retard into the controller...so it ONLY retards the timing when the Nitrous is armed and running...

Your CIS pump will be fine for pressure...if there is a pressure gauge take off on your fuel rail...you can use that for your Fuel for your Nitrous system..

All the best Brett
