This will be awesome. It wouldn't be a surprise if Don Panoz himself (owner of Chateau Elan, Road Atlanta, Panoz) gives us the tour of Panoz. It's the assembly line where they build them, there's also a museum room with some cool cars.
Road Atlanta is a nice drive nearby, if anyone is up for it McMichael Motorports is across the street, they're the dealer for Superformance and have a showroom with a variety of racecars, Ferraris etc. on hand.
Just hanging around Chateau Elan is very nice. There's also a big 'lawn' and a fountain that's fun for the kids. A picnic blanket might be good to pack just in case.
I'll be staying in a room with my wife Jennifer even though we live nearby, this place is that good. If anyone needs help on the way call me on my cell, 770-241-6533

 

Looking foward to this for a while. If anyone is interested on Sunday after lunch we could do a "mountain run" up to Lookout Mountain. Ed M

Absolutely sucks I don't have my shark here yet. Please keep me informed of any other get togethers in the Atlanta area. I just moved here and would love to meet other shark owners..

 

You're welcome to come join us. Porsche cars optional, enthusiasts mandatory.

 

Abby, you really should come anyway. It's not like we're going to be milling about in the parking lot and I'm sure someone will have a seat for you for any local trips or you can just drive whatever you have. There will be some great folks to meet, Jack has been a Porsche service manager since 928s came out and he'll probably have a stack of neat documents to go with his knowledge. BTW, is Greg (Blown87) a neighbor? He lives somewhere south of Atlanta, he brought a non-928 to our last get together and it worked out just fine

Greg and I have exchanged pm's since I moved here but have yet to meet up. It would be tough for me to make this event however I do look forward to meeting the Georgia Chapter of Shark owners soon!

Hi guys, I just do not see how I can make it on this one. To many things going on right now.

Every one was very understanding about the fact that It takes me to long to do anything to the 928 and did not have it there with me.

Sorry, I had to cancel at the last moment. We're still spending all of our free time trying to get settled at the new house. I hope we'll have another opportunity to try again in the future.
