Ask him if you can send a postal money order. If he doesn't ship the item, the postmaster general will go after him for mail fraud. At least thats what I have been told. Explain your reservations to him, if he's legit he will understand. At least get a phone # to call and speak with him.

Ask to him becasue of his low feedback number, you would like to first talk to him personally. However I think this is a legit seller. He bought a distributor for a Merkur XR4Ti (this is a turbo car) and before that a Volvo intecooler. A Volvo IC upgrade on Merkur is avery popular mod, so I think he is legit.

There are rennlister from NJ so perhaps they can pick it up for you.

Well he wants Paypal and only Paypal. I will try to get him to allow me to have someone come out and be there as I send the money via Paypal. HOWEVER I will not send him money like that. His auction is not protected by Paypal Buyer's protection because he has only 4 feedback. Thanks Fabio I'd rather be without this great deal than be without my money and no supercharger.
