Living in Resume Speed, Idaho, our book stores don't usually carry specialty mags like 911 & Porsche World, so I have subscribed for the past few years so I don't miss an issue. The problem is that I just got my December issue yesterday (Jan. 3) and I've seen it in the bookstores in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Portland, etc. for well over the past four weeks or so. It seems to have considerably more articles on the front-engined Porsches than the other mags is the reason I subscribe. The price for a subscription isn't really that much cheaper than bookstore price. What a pain to see the mag and want to buy it but know that I'll be getting a copy sent to me in a month! The other English magazine, GT Porsche, also seems to have more front engined articles than Excellence, etc. On the flip side, living among the curvey roads of the rural west has some advantages.
