Hi

Probably my only post on this forum, but Id like to know if anybody does air duct/scoops for brakes etc to fit in place of the later 928 (think its 1998>) foglamps (like the scoops on the 964 Cups?)

I have a Renault Alpine A610 and they use the exact same unit as the 928, but the fogs are too expensive as a a whole unit to buy, so I wanted some neat, and cheaper!

The fog lamp/driving light assembly is mounted in one single plastic housing. It could be replaced with a scoop but you would have to give up both lights or heavily modify the housing by cutting it in half. Also, on the 928 you would have to cut holes in the back of the bumper cap and bumper beam. Besides the 928 already has brake cooling ducts in the lower air dam.

Cheers. The problem is I have repaired my car due to frontal damage, and I have neither of the fogs or housings, so I was hoping somebody in the Porsche world did something 'off the shelf'

If they are the same part (?) then maybe one of the re-cycler yards could ship you a 928 set. 928International.com

Yes, Ive looked into that - still cost me around $950 for the pair inc delivery and our UK tax

May need to look for a used set...
