Do all 928 have a munged driver side cowl panel covering?
My flimsy bit of plastic over the leaf catcher is being eaten by the drivers side windshield wiper thing. I started looking for a new one, then noticed a lot of 928 seem to be in the same fix, is this a part that just breaks a lot or what?
Whats a good source for a new one?

Mine has not ever had one that I can remember. I have seen other 928 missing the same. WTF? I stopped looking for one and just clean the leaves and debris out when I can.

Hi try to get a new plastic cover, a later model will work, it helps keep the windshield wiper motor dry and also keeps water from going to other places besides the cowl drain ,on the passenger side of the cowl this is a critical thing as most 928s have a blower box seal that should be resealed otherwise the water will eventually drain into your fuse panel and cause all kinds of gremlins to start working against the Bwaaa. To fix the blower box seal the blower motor needs to be unscrewed from the top and then the bottom of the blower box will drop into the passenger footwell reseal the blower box with some 3 M strip caulk just add to what is there , make sure the seal area is very clean and the caulk is sticky
