Because it is NOT A RACE but a progressive rolling party ....and the rules must be such that a car not speeding can "win" or the organizers could have much liability.

There is definitelly something non stock stuff under the bonnet.

















Bullrun, Cannonball 3000 etc. are far removed from original idea. This years Bullrun is around 3000 miles and they do it in seven days. In original Cannonball they did same distance in day and half. Most people who participate to these multi day events wouldn't last half a distance done in one day.

im sure I saw that car on TV in the bullrun and there was a man and a woman in it, and they had a fire...
