I have 2 lines to cap (centre and footwell) otherwise the other lines all work fine.

Will definitely replace the footwell vac actuator when I get hold of one.

Thanks,

When I capped mine I just used some 3mm vacuum lines caps I bought at the local auto parts store....they were cheap only a few $$

That is odd....but the default mode (no vacuum) is fresh air through the center and defrost vents with constant heat (heater valve open)....it does sound like your setting motor isn't working, it might be stuck closed.....but I haven't had to fix mine yet?

Thanks for suggestion. I haven't seen caps in any of the auo stores I use here in the UK but I'll keep looking now I know they're out there! Sounds like a Google job...
