'85 32v 5.0lt also available in Japan (according to tech. specs)
I believe this uses US engine instead of lower compression '86 32V ROW. Also if tech spec book can be believed it was only availalble with automatic gearbox. Same in '86 MY.
'86 32v 5.0lt only available in Germany & Australia ( & presumably Japan) & not actually ROW ?. Never available in the UK.
Also available in Sweden and Switzerland. Maybe even only choice in Switzerland. Tech spec book also lists strange 275 hp low compression version of 16V ROW for Sweden but I think it doesn't exist.
'85-'86 ROW was the 'EURO' 16v 4.7 (S2 in UK)
'84 MY is basically same except for older style interior.
Wolfpack, you got the best model like mark stated (86 a bit better), and if its a good example you will have a lot of fun. Take a while to get use to it.
Nice grab. I have yet to see an '86 Euro for sale. '85 is my pipe-dream. Not that it has much above my current car...at the fundamental level, at least.
Not much info around on them though, as you are hearning. You'll have to ramp up with Euro-inclusive workshop manuals and PET disks, and ask questions. As stated above, re '85 Euro 5 Spd is one of the 928 Specialist proprietor's rides, so there are some nice images and a good source of info there.
Also, you may want to get onboard with 928UK and/or Landsharks OZ since the RoW cars are more d'rigguer there.
They are still available, so you can be. Sorry for some reason I presumed you weren't interested.
stan, thats fine... my financial situation has changed a bit. if i scrape some cash up, I'll take them off your hands. what did you want for them again?
I did not buy this car, seems it might not have been a 85 and also had a Mercedies Benz Title and it has been under water. It is the car posted on 928 Specialists.
