You should do a search here for "steering wheel" - this topic has been discussed in much depth before, and the old threads provide a wealth of information, in cluding pictures etc.

Best of luck!

Try searching e-bay. I got an S4 steering wheel in pristine condition for $50 about 3 months ago.

How bad is your wheel Steve? My '81 had all the stitching gone and was really weathered. I pulled wheel and restitched the whole thing and dyed it black. Still looks good 4 yrs later.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were looking for an aftermarket steering wheel. Either way, I'm glad this was found by the master of steering wheel refinishing...

i love my Momo (thank you Gary Knox!) . The car is much more of a pleasure to drive now than with the stock steering wheel.

i saw a momo steering wheel with a porsche emblem on ebay, it looked alot smaller than what's in my car. with my little knowledge i have to ask, what size of steering wheel should i be looking for if i decide to go aftermarket?

thanks

Beware of bidding on ebay steering wheels. I have bought some that were advertised for the 928 but were in reality off a 944 and won't fit due to a smaller spline.

Hey Malcolm,

yes I can, but if you want it to look right, it's a little bit more involved than just gluing it on top. The method depends on the model of wheel.

I sent you a PM

Paul
