Shark Attack

when i took my door panels off last summer I had to remove the wires from the power mirror switches. When they came off they were not in any type of shell. they were all seperate just pushed on the spades one at a time. I have no idea how to put them back on.... The switch seems to have a color coding right on it, but it doesn't match the color of the wires. I looked at my scuz-matics and they were usless.. What Now?

Bump - I need this info too. The same thing happened to me and my colors don't match those on the switch either.

If I remember correctly there are only three wires, one large and two small. The larger wire conectorer of course goes on the big connector and the smaller two on the sall ones(duh) if you try them one way and the mirrors work backwards- reverse them. Iwill lokk for shure on my 82 euro this weeked for you. Right now about 20degs in garage- but should be back into the 50s' this weekend-Mike

i cant remember how many wires but it for sure is more than 3. about 7-8 i think

tHERE ARE 3 ON THE changeover sw, 6 on the movement switch on my 83. Only the 3 on the changeover switch are 'loose', ie not in a plug, where the other 6 are in a plug that can only fit one way into the movement switch base. On mine the changeover sw single pin was green, right(drivers) mirror yellow, left blue.
