Wheels on 89 S4
Hi All,
I have a few questions about wheel fit on my 89 S4. I have searched the forum but cannot pin down what I am looking for, hopefully someone can help me.
I have a set of 17X7 rims 55mm offset with 205/50 tires for the front, and 17X8.5 rims 50 mm offset with 255/40 for the rear. I am hoing to fit these on the 89 but not sure if I should use/need any spacers? If so, will I need to change the studs, or get spacers with studs already in them?
I have a similar set of wheels on my 86 S (the fronts are the same, the rears are 17X9 with a 55mm offset, same tire as above) and they fit well with the 21mm spacer on the rears.
Basically, I am looking to find out the differences from the 86 to the 89. If I just get a set of 21mm spacers for the 89 will I be fine? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Glenn

IIRC that is what my wheels are on the 87 (practiaclly the same as the 89) so they will fit no problem without spacers.
