Brake Carrier Question
I just removed the brake assembly and the calipers from the piston/carrier assembly on my 83. While I was puting them back in I noticed a couple of spring type pieces of metal on the carrier.
What is the best way to get these things out of the way and the calipers back into the carrier.
I have seen a write up that mentions to assemble the calipers and pads then install the calipers into the carrier, but the brake pads keep getting in the way.
Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.
