Tourist shipping order option codes
Digging through the receipts that came with my 83 I found out the original owner took delivery in Stuttgart, and I am wondering if the option codes on the Tourist shipping order are the same as normal option codes.

All codes mean same things in different markets. Option 900 = tourist delivery. It doesn't have directly anything to with catalytic converter. As unleaded fuel wasn't generally available in Germany at the time converter was probably uninstalled during one or few weeks time car was driven in Europe and fuel system cleaned before car left to US from factory.

Interesting, I just copied what was on the form (code and description), Porsche Audi a div of Volkswagen of America. I thought about taking European delivery, but at the time my local dealer made it not very attractive.
