Even though this is a very fine GT, I am afraid you have it priced a bit high.

The nice low-miles maintained '89 GT from dry no-rust Nevada should bring that price easily. It may take a while to find the right buyer, but it will sell.

Good luck!

Pretty car, no way to tell with picts just how nice or what it might go for, but I am sure curious A local 89 5spd 61k WP0JB0927KS860553 has been in autotrader awhile now at $17k. I think a pristine 89 went recently for $22k, but I have never seen a car as clean as that one was.

So when did they drop the "928 GT" badging from the rear end? My '91GT doesn't have anything there.

Yes, it's a beauty. I think the badging may have been optional. The window sticker from my 89 has "928 GT INDICATORS/PACKAGES" listed twice in the section just above the price. Maybe it was dealer installed because I remember reading somewhere once before that the GT badging wasn't an option on 89 GTs.

Dave,

Have there been any recent inspections, leak down compression tests, or other info that most owners would want before paying that much money? Beautiful car.

I always thought that the lack of badging on the rear was a no-cost option, as in:

M498- Without Vehicle "Type" Lettering on Rear End
('87 - '91, S4/GT)
