Default 88 928 failed et on co

fighting problem w/adaptation,keeps adapting full rich w/new air mass meter, coolant temp sender, o2 sensor,no vacume leaks,the only thing i don't have to try is known good ecu. If anybody hit this wall let me know thanks mike 303-601-3091

Are you sure that it is going full rich? While that will cause high CO, it most likely will also cause high HC. I am not sure what the '88 has but if there is an air pump you may not be getting the air needed for the cat to deal with the CO created.

Reset the FI and Ignition brains by removing the negative battery lead. Re-attach and go from there.
