how do you remove outer door trim

Question how do you remove outer door trim

that is the trim that is located above both doors on the roof line

They are just held on with clips. Slide on and slide off

Un screw the clip in the back. Then gently roll the molding out towards you, when you get to the end by the windshield it will require more roll to remove it. Be careful the trim is very soft and dents or bends easily.

WARNING - those things are fragile and will easily twist/warp out of shape if you aren't very gentle. After the end clip is removed, it's really held in place by clamping pressure of folds formed into the piece. Work gently, moving it away from the body a little at a time up and back the length of the piece - don't just grab and pull from one end.
