Jacquemond has a new 928 front bumper cover

I have to agree with those that think the 928 is better looking left alone. The pop up headlights and other styling cues are what to me make the 928 what it is. I look at our 1989 928S4 and the 1986.5 928S track car and fall in lust everytime. They are both a bit different and I like both styles. Porsche did a great job with both. The GTS rear fenders are also a favorite.
I don't think this front end will work without the rest of the widebody mods. The new front does not look like it will flow into the stock narrow fenders.
Cheers,
Constantine

'The center hole screams Mustang. I think it's a great looking car, unless your looking for a 928.'
NICE.
I'm with the majority, I'd like to see it on an otherwise stock front end to make a better call. Any 'Photo shop' masters out there?
It's cool that they've come out with something new for the car though, no?

Ok... here's my rough photoshop attempt. The Jaquemond car has flared front fenders, so it doesn't fit very well, but you at least get the idea. It looks out of place on a Stock S4/GT IMHO.

Ha! Good job, Andrew. Originally, I was with Ernest in thinking it looked like the new RX8, but now I can see, with your pic, how it fits in more with newer Porsche styling trend. I certainly think that the 928's front end, as nice as it is, could be made to look more aggressive through larger air-intakes.

along with this one;
If this blue one still had the original headlights, i think it would be my favorite. But both the black JAQ and this blue one are my favorite 928 looks, the OB body with slight updates to make a truly timeless perfect GT.

That is a good replication of the Porsche "corporate front end" . The very large grill openings are a stylistic affectation , emphasis on form over function...... in other words just for the "look". Much of what makes a Taureg into a Cayenne is that corporate front facia even though aerodynamicaly it probably sucks

I have never cared for the OB's front bumper and have thought the S4's were a slight improvement. Both cars kind of remind me of someone w/o a chin. I like this front end because the lowest portion is now more prominent. The 928 finally has a chin!
