Default Big Thank You to Andrew Olson

Just wanted to thank fellow Rennlister and Shark owner, Andrew Olson.

Andrew took time off his busy day and gave my prospective 928S4 buy a visit. A thorough test drive and full assessment was all I need to really get a good feel (warm fuzzies) about my impending plunge into Shark infested waters. And if I may say...the water is really nice!

I'm going to like it here.....many thanks again Andrew!

Oh my god...you didn't trust Andrew did you?

You can't trust a man with Supercharger Addiction!

Seriously, he really is a great guy, and has been of tremendous help to me, too.

Thanks from me as well, Andrew!

If Andrew did the test drive you may need a new clutch soon!

But I concur - Andrew is indeed one of the good guys.

Andrew did the same for me last summer. He gave me an assessment of my 928 before I bought it. Thanks again. I love my shark.

First time I met Andrew he noticed that the hood on my newly purchased car
was slightly out of kilter and he went back to his car, emerged with two bags
of wrenches and adjusted it to better than factory specs. Thanks Andrew, we
are lucky to have you in Michigan!

Default And Also Rob Edwards

I owe a thank you to Rob Edwards for performing a similar service for me. I ended up not buying the car, but Rob in Irvine went and looked at one I was serious about. He was able to determine that the A/C was not working as the owner said, and that the car, while beautiful, was pretty neglected (in fact, its registration was a year+plus expired).

Rob was very thorough and used his expertise to be my eyes and ears where I couldn't be. And he didn't ask a dime. He said he wsa paying it forward for the other help other folks on here like Dr. Bob had given him.

While I didn't buy the car, it sure made me feel better in making an offer to the seller, and getting a sense of what kind of owner the seller was.

Rob, I owe you a lunch when I'm out there in December, or myabe your own tensioner or tool of some sort.

Oh ****! I've been outed!

Thanks for the kudos, gaijin. I just hope it lives up to your expectations. It's a good car and smokin price for a 5-speed. Sure, it has some warts, but they all do. I've see better and I've see worse. I think this car is definately leaning toward the better.

Chaad, Bill, Steve, Mac: Thanks for holding me in such high regard. The way I figure it, if I keep up all this good karma, the day that my car dies and I need a lift or a tow (I know... blasphemy!), I'll find someone just as willing to help me.

I'll drink to that!

Matt-

You're welcome, but you don't owe me a thing- it got me out of the house for an evening to go kick tires! Let me know when you get out here and we can go for a blast in the shark and grab a cold beverage.

Speaking of that hood out of kilter problem, is there any special trick to getting it to align? Mine is just barely higher than the side fenders.
