I've got a nice new Para LDA and the rig to go with it. Just got my Utah CCW permit, which is good in some 32 states.

Now all I have to do is get a permit for here in Kanuckistan........ not very likely!

That woulda been the case here...I got more of the story from mack. He was sitting in his hotel room working on the computer...2 guys barge in (they must have had a key!!! !!! Inside job?!?!?) with a gun.

In Macks word's - he would had to have had a gun in his hand, cocked and aimed at the door for it to have done any good!

Nonetheless...I make good use of my CCW permit!

I remember in high school when the local drug dealer drove a 928, along with the lawyer for the Chicago Bulls. Ahhhh, the memories!!! Definately a magnet for trouble at times! Pack some heat next time!
And yes, I did some some pot a long time ago but that chapter has been closed.

Definitely do so. Google around to find the person who represented Connie Francis (in the 80's?) (and be glad you got off easy compared to her). Where did it happen?

It happened in Montgomery Al, in supposedly the good part of town at an Extended Stay hotelThat 2nd opinion was also not much better but attorney was familian with the Connie Francis case. The attorney belioeves theres more than a 50/50 chance but wont gaurantee any thing and wants 5k upfront to start. I may have to pass on that. The hotel insurance company has agreed to reimburse me for over half of my loss.
