Congratulation Mike, Bill and Nicole. I went on a little road trip tonight to Shreveport and back - averaging around 70mph. My S4 runs better than ever. The engine seems more smooth and powerful and my gas mileage went from 19mpg before the TB/WP job to 22mpg! I don't know how replacing the TB/WP and cam sprockets could result in better gas mileage and improved performance but I'm really pleased with the way it runs!

It's because she knows daddy loves her and she feels better.
Mine is mad at me and still bleeding, but she loved the track.

Mine has had some blood dripping from the PS area too. I changed the oil today, and tightened the hoses to and from the reservoir. I'm hoping that it was just a case of it getting a little jostled during the TB event. So far, so good-no drips on the floor.

I wonder if a dry tensioner, beat up rollers and worn cam gears can cause enough friction to be noticable. My belt didn't actually look bad, although there was some residue from it in there. But clearly the tensioner hadn't been opened up in a long time and the bearings in the rollers were not free at all.
Whether it's in my head or what I don't know, but I likey!
