Question Alternate TB tension tool potential?

I saw this cam belt tension tool on ebay ..... and began to think that perhaps it could be calibrated against the 9201, or 9131 clone tool.
The price is definitely right for an experiment .... any thoughts on feasibility of providing accurate results???

I think the orientation of the **** will make it hard to use for timing belts, but it sure looks good for supercharger belts!

I saw those also. There are two cheap styles, that is one. Tension is tension.
