Over the years at least these cloths were available as seat centers:
Checker board velour = Pascha or Op Art
Uni-coloured cloth
Tartan cloth = Scotch cloth
Pin stripe velour
Berber cloth
Pin stripe flannel
Porsche lettering cloth
Multicolour cloth = Studio cloth
Names are from english language ROW PET in order where I think they were available. Pascha was used between '78 and '84, Studio between '89 and '95 and others were similarly optional for several years but nore except Pin stripe velour was used through entire production period. Uni-coloured, Tartan and Berber were used in early years. Pin stripe flannel and Porsche lettering cloth in '85 and later at new style seat only I think.
In early years Checker board velour was most common. In later years Pin stripe velour took its place as common choice. As more and more cars had leather in later years especially Studio cloth is rare in 928 even though it was used a lot in other period models.
All above cloths were available in many different colors. Usually between 4 to 7 different ones at any given year. There are more than 10 different colors of many cloths as colors were changed for different model years.
With cloth seat centers other parts of the seat could be many different colors also. Each cloth color had corresponding color vinyl (leatherette in PET) or leather outer parts in each year. Some vinyl and leather colors like black were used together with more than one cloth color to make few more variations while others were used with only one cloth color.
