Default Its Alive - But Still A few Issues

Well after at least 6 months off the road, and a TB/WP and intake r&r it is alive! No start problem was a fried LH brain. I do have a couple of issues that I could use some help on:

1. It is running well but a bit lumpy (not too bad) - but like an old american v8 dragster - I'm wondering if I'm off a tooth on the belt?

2. Electric fans do not come on. I'm wondering if I switched the wires on the sensor on the very top of the intake & if that would have caused it? Where else to check - fuses seem ok.

Thanks

There's an extensive fan controller diagnostic in the WSM that's worth following. I eventually found that badly repaired wiring to one of my fans was causing the problem, and since you've had the fan shroud out I'd be tempted to start looking in that area.

Ken, the wires on the intake can go either way.

Thanks all. I pulled and cleaned all the temp sensor wires and & plugs - the fans now both work.

It is still running a bit rich and surging a bit at idle - I think I need to go back in and check that my timing belt lines up.
