Old style sport seats.

What does rear seats look like? Is there lockable box between them? Please post pics once you have it home.

Multiple 928 owners with multiple 928s in NJ. What can be cooler than that!
Congrats

Hi Erkka: Unfortunately, since I'm in NJ and the car is in MD, and the seller hasn't provided back seat pics, I don't know what's back there. But I will definitely post more pics as soon as the car arrives. The seller has told me that the car comes with the full original medical kit in the back, so I hope that means it has the lockable console as well.

What's up with the "old style sport seats"? Were they not stock for this car? I thought they looked a little funny. And I already see that something is up with the rear end and those bumperettes next to the plate. My other Euro doesn't have that. Makes it look like a US car. A little disappointing...but the car is so sweet otherwise, F it.

The seller is driving the car to me, and says it is his daily driver, so it must be in pretty decent condition. I can hardly wait to get it!

And Kevin...sorry but...not a chance!!!

'78-84 MY there where three separate seat styles available for 928. Normal and sport where available on all those years, normal with either manua or electric adjustments. In '81-82 (possibly '80-82) 4.5L ROW model cheap seat was same style as what was used in period 911.

Your picture shows obviously sport seats. This should mean also rear seats are different design. At least some which had these didn't have box between rear seats. As it has medical kit it is somewhat likely box was included. Other official place for kit could be next to relay board in footwell on right side.

Red thing at the back is rear fog light. There are two separate buttons on left side of pod below driving light switch. Center one for front fogs and bottom for rear fog.

I'm all over. Main residence and home base is in Totowa but I have one in central Jersey that I've been spending a good portion of time at. I have an office in Montvale.

Spent a lot of time in your neck of the woods as my ex was from hawthorne and my divorce lawyer was in...Fairlawn.

WOW, small world. I grew up in Hawthorne too. Wonder if I knew your ex?

If you're coming up this way anytime, let me know...maybe we can race or wrench or something!
