Just thought I'd throw this out there... I'm thinking of leaving here late morning/early afternoon to avoid Friday rush hour. Any takers?

Geez, Randy! You will barely make the free lunch, and you may be out in the overflow lot if you show up that late. Make sure some kind soul reserves a space for you within walking distance of the front door. I look to you as a leader in the group, not just a mystery thread-killer.

Sadly, I won't be able to share a morning wanton destruction of evidence session with you this year. Oh well... Next year, two straws for mine!

Are we the only 3 going from SD? Where's Bob D, Brendan ( oops, no running 928, and Honda's don't count ) and all the other locals?

 

If someone saves me a sweet spot out front they'll be well rewarded. I guess I've been lucky in years past as I always show up around 9:30 - 10:00 and have gotten good spots.


What happened to the Stigasaurus?

 

It's getting tougher to get folks to just go jump in the car and drive it for fun. Bill-- I'm ready for another karting day, but I need to leave here a lot earlier and figure out a route that doesn't include the 405 or the 5 parking lots on Saturday afternoons. The rest of this year is booked solid for me, so maybe Jan-Feb? Don't wait for me though-- Go for it!

Might be worth planning an event, and doing a little promotion of it at Sharktoberfest. Contact Dan Bise and Mark Anderson and get some push during the event. I'll mention it to Dan this evening over a beverage.

 

I'd like to go but after being gone for the last three weeks - if I show the wife'll make sure that I have a couple of kids in tow.

Bill, After purchasing 3 cars new and using them as daily drivers for over 26 years, I am out of hiding and ready to participate.

I'll be at the Marriott Friday afternoon and would like to buy the first round for all the San Diego folks.
