Default Kumho tires with uneven tire circumference

84' 928 S 5 speed
I recently had 4 Kumho tires installed following a 4 wheel alignment at a Porsche "Recommended" tire outlet. I am now at about 1100 Kils. and the ride
is "bumpy" Rasied the aft end and ran it in 3rd gear with a pointed end at the tire surface and the opposite end attached to the fender. There is definitley higher and lower surfaces on the face of the tread, doesn't appear to be scalloping as in worn shocks.
Any suggestions before I return the Shark to the alignment shop for assessment.

Hi has the car been sitting if so the tires may have taken a set, I would recommend that you go drive the car for about 25 miles and then recheck the tires they should be round after this, if not then you may have gotten a bad set of tires and they could have bad internal belts also a possibility is that you may have hit a few potholes or parked the car on an uneven surface also check the tire pressure, G luck, Stan

What alignment machine did they use and did they the wheels hang loose in the air when they jacked the 928?

I flat-spotted a tire on hard braking on the track...and put the flat-spotted tire on the back and "spun" it even again on good honest asphault. In the old days there were shops that would true up tires, but I couldn't find anyone.

Some tires are bad right out of the store and they try to make them right with wheel weights, but sometimes they're so off that won't work either.

Just some more ideas to add to the mix.

Harvey
