Hmm
Lets see with most 6.4-5 strokers putting down between 480-575whp....that would make a 7.0L about 515 to 620whp.....that would make one mean raceshark engine!! Hmm maybe Todd could sponsor Kibort????????????

Todd is already very much involved in Mark's engine.

So a boosted 7.0L....thats really insane......sounds like a brutal driveline destroyer to me!! :>) So with about 1 bar boost (or so) that would be around 800whp or so.....with the right setup....1000 is possible??? Silly, but possible...why not....Supras make up to 1500 with 1/2 that displacement...Vipers do it on 8-8.3 liter turbos.....

Man, that thing is punched out to the water jacket! I want to do that!
Doesn't look like much water will flow around the cylinders. Will you be able to keep it cool?

Todd was working with Darton to have sleeves produced. They are not (unless something changed) setup to offer a bore this large. Not to mention the "off the shelf" Darton sleeves are made from Ductile Iron - these are steel (sorry, did not write down the number).
Todd mentioned when Darton produces a high horsepower / high boost cylinder, they switch to steel (like these). So he figured, why mess around with the Iron. He's been producing steele 911 / VW cylinders for two decades, being used on motorcycles & auto racing applications. So switching to a 928 variation wasn't much of a stretch.
I'll be showing some more close up details of these sleeves.
In a different thread I mentioned Todds "People's Motor". It's a term he's using to the descrive the "off-the-shelf" steel sleeves he will be producing and offering soon. Specific details are not yet available for public consumption.

Forget the bore... I wanna see what the H he's doing with the head to mate those bad boys. Must be some olympic pool sized bowl.
My hats off to Todd for stretching the limits.
