All of the rooms have been recently renovated and the bar/restaurant area where we will be meeting for the Friday evening reception has also been remodeled into an Irish-style pub. We will have a reserved parking area with car washing supplies available when you arrive, so be sure to look for that.

Through October 6th, you can call and make your reservations for Friday and/or Saturday nights (10/20 and 10/21). Be sure to mention "Sharktoberfest" to obtain our special room rate of $104. Reserve early because after October 6th, rooms will only be available at the (much higher) going rate.

UPDATE ON THE ROOM BLOCK SELLOUT. As of today (10-2-06), the hotel is increasing our room block by 5 rooms. Thanks.

Kevin, I have a shirt left over from last year you can have. Never wore it. I will bring it on Saturday if you want it.

Hi, Kevin. I'll have to have Mark or Jim chime in with an answer to that one as 928 Int'l is handling the Saturday main event arrangements. I am out of the country at the moment and will have more info. when I return.

Hope to see you out here!

P.S. - Randy, can we get this topped?

Ron, Thanks! I have last years. I met several folks last year that were sporting the 04' shirts and thought it would be fitting ( ) if there was a shirt for this year.

I know several of us put PDR to work that Saturday!

I forget - were there special parking rules for people without 928s? I'm pretty certain that i'm attending this year, but don't have a 928 (or a working car for that matter). We can still park on the 928intl lot - just not in the main area, right?

Mike you can park the bike in the back of our building so it is safe PLUS we have the use of the LARGE lot across the street in front of the big industrial building for overflow 928 and "other cars" . So all the parking at 2900 E Miraloma should be 928s !!!

The extra parking should help eliminate some of the traffic jam and keep the lot in front of Blake's BBQ open for their regular Saturday customers.

Yes I agree...."hope it's not the same dates as Frenzy 11" but we can only control what WE DO. When we set a date nothing prevents someone else from picking the same date.

The AZ group has our plans set ... we're meeting at the west side of Phoenix (Litchfield) Friday at 8 AM should be rolling into the hotel by 3 PM if all goes as planned. We're just shooting across I10 and then taking a left at 57 (south).

Yes, I hope Sharktoberfest 5 is not the same date as Frenzy 11 either. Bad timing this year. I always welcome a trip to SoCal and am bummed I won't be able to head out there this year. Should be a great event, though. Have fun and post pics/vids!
