Looks Great Rick!
I like that last picture with the air compressors dangling off the ends of the exhaust manifolds. The steel center section and turbine housings on those will really benefit from Jet-Hot coating if you want them to stay nice in service. I've seen those puppies glowing pretty red in a few installations. It was worthwhile adding water-cooling to the bearing section. Ball bearings in them?

Thanks guys, it's been a real labor of love... and money
I only hope I can get the engine bay to look good enough to hold it! Hood cleaning and new hood insulation pad yesterday should help.
Ryan, it's a complete rebuild top to bottom, new main and rod bearings, new rings, cams refurbished, some new valves, new springs, new guides, rebuilt fuel injectors, and pretty much all new lines and sensors... whew! I don't remember off hand what it cost to coat the headers, about $200 IIRC, but I'll look at the receipt again and let you know.
And to think it all started with "just" a head gasket and oil pan...
Dr. Bob, if only those turbos were for real! Dan was just having a little fun, but they're really for their 911 race car.
I need to thank Dan at Exotic Motorwerks, he's the one that's doing all the major work, I've been able to help on some of the disassembly and cleaning (LOTS of cleaning!), but he is THE MAN, one great mechanic and technician

Rick:
Just stumbled across this thread and wanted to add my congrats on the beautiful engine install, which I got to see in person last week. (my new-to-me black GT has been sharing garage space lately with yours at EMW)

Tim, Constantine, Kurt, Perry, Thanks for the nice comments, I'm very pleased with the way the look of the motor turned out. I wrestled back and forth about going with factory silver on the covers and intake, but I'm glad I decided to go with the red head!!
I've been inspired by many engine photos posted here in the past, Thanks to everyone for giving great ideas to the rest of us.
Kurt, saw your Black GT too... very nice... congrats on your find!
Perry, yeah, I could just stare at it too (and have!), but after not having driven my car for almost a year, it MUST go in and be driven!!!
