There have been many signs on asphalt north from Helsinki because of WOT trials done by Niklas using his S4 5sp.

Hello Greg
Thanks for your kind comments. Yes, the SharkTuner is definitely an "enthusiast to enthusiast" product and certainly is not commercially viable.

LH SharkTuner took two years, in which Niklas and I worked on working out how the LH software and hardware worked. At the same time Niklas developed his own Supercharged car and tested the SharkTuner with it. (plus holding down a full time job as well)

Every 928 owner owes him a big vote of thanks !

Louie Ott also evaluated both LH and EZk early software and his focused analysis helped us to quickly sort out some remaining issues.

We are still getting much useful feedback from people such as yourself as the user base of the SharkTuner gets larger. This will all help to resolve any obscure remaining issues and also possibly lead to further improvements in operablity.

We have just started on the EZ-F version of the SharkTuner.

We also have some exciting ideas for the future as well !

We hope that the combination of Strokers, superchargers, turbochargers and the SharkTuner will keep the 928 young for many years to come :-)

I can't imagine how many hours you have in development of this tool, but it is the greatest tuning tool I've ever used. I don't see how you will ever get a return on your investment of time....I think you should have done what the American Tuners have done....limit the tool to tuning one or two cars and then not allow it to work on another car. Not sure how they do that, but it sure limits the use of the product and gets them a better return on their investment. Of course, they are selling just software and not the hardware package you are selling. However, it would be cool to have the hardware go up in smoke....like the "Mission Impossible" message machines, after the use of the tool.....just a thought. This might make the product slightly harder to ship into the US, however!!

It is really great to be able to tune the Bosch system. The knock sensors on the Bosch system make it very desirable to use....now that it can be tuned. The lack of knock sensors have spelled the end of many a Porsche engine with EFI, Motec, or any other aftermarket system. Most of the tuners of these systems adjust the timing and fuel maps to make the most horsepower, without backing off from the "edge" far enough. If an injector fouls for a few seconds.....it is all over. If you run the car low on fuel or uncover the pickup in the fuel cell in a corner...it is all over. If you get a crappy tank of fuel at some racetrack....it is all over.

The market for being able to tune the Bosch system on the Cup Cars is very big here.....BTW. Porsche seems to have a real "lock" on this system. They can tune it, no one else can.
