Hello Again,

It's almost time for our monthly gathering. Just as in past month since it's the first Thursday of the month, we will be meeting at the RAM in Fishers at 6:30 ish. If the weather is good we usually hang out in the parking lot for a while before going in for a quick brew and a bite to eat.

Several of us attended Sharks in the Mountains last weekend, so I'm sure there will be some good stories to tell. I think with good weather, this will be out largest turn out yet. If you have specific questions please send an email or call my cell (440-6126). Hope to see you Thursday!

It sure was a good time at SITM... Happy I got to meet you and Brett Jenkins and Hans from your area.

I saw you mentioned the US Grand Prix at the beginning of this thread (@ Indy, June 15-17.) Anyone plan on attending?

There will be a PCA Corral there:

I am still working on logistics, but plan on attending, whether I drive or fly!

Let me know if anyone is going to make it to the race. A mini post-SITM gtg could be fun!

I dont plan on going to the race, but would be up for meeting up while you are in town. I am sure some other rennlisters will make the pilgrimage. Maybe we should start a separate thread to guage interest in an event?

I believe the PCA corral is full, or at least the police escort portion. I wouldn't recommend parking inside the track without an escort. I usually park about a mile away and walk in. I’ve been every year and know my way around, so just PM an question you might have.

Tonight is the night and I finally after five months have a 928 that is road worthy enough to drive. Looking forward to seeing all that make it.

Our next meeting is scheduled for July 5th. I unfortunately will not be able to attend. Knowing that other might have holiday plans I was wonder if A) we leave it alone and just see who shows up, B) change it to an alternate date, C) cancel it all together and just get together in August. Please let know your preference.

Sorry I couldn't get my travel logistics to work out to attend the US Grand Prix...
I was going to have to spend an extra two days in Indy...or leave @ 1400 Sunday.
I heard it was quite a 'hot time', however!
I'll let you know when travels next take me your way. . .

The car is running great! Went to Dayton last weekend to check out Taj Ma Garaj with a bunch on 944 guys.

I had a hard time keeping track of them in my rear view mirror… I think I might need new glasses.

There were a number of nice looking 951s and they were a great bunch of guys.

The Taj is beyond comprehension.

The majority of those that responded stated they preferred postponing the meeting to a later date. Since I’m the one organizing this I figured I better pick a date I’m available. Therefore, I am proposing we push back out meeting that was originally scheduled for today to next Wednesday the 11. I hope this work okay for most.

Typically we meet between 6:30 and 7:00 in the Ram parking lot in Fishers to look at cars. Sometime shortly after that we go inside for a quick dinner, brew and talk cars.

Today is our usual day to meet at the Ram in Fishers. However, I’m in Chicago and depending on traffic this afternoon I’ll either be really late or might not make it at all.
