And what sound is this ?? "sounds like the fuel pump relay.." there are three relays which when they fail make silence ...fuel pump ,LH brain, Ignition relay but so does a broken timing belt ,dead fuel pump, failed crank sensor....

Good to hear you are up & running.. I just had a scare about 30 minutes ago. Went to Captain Dee's to get some fish. Went outside and car began to start, then died almost immediately. Jiggled my relays and snugged them all in, car started right up after that. Either it was loose (doubt it) or I may want to order a spare fuel pump relay to keep in the car incase I am not so lucky the next time! (Doh, left my manual @ home, and couldn't remember which realy it was to try and swap the horn. Better keep that in the car as well!)

Swapping the horn relay in doesn't work on the early cars - you need to have a relay jumper in the glove box - or a spare ($$) fuel pump relay...
